What If I Don’t “See” Anything During a QHHT Session?
There’s an anxiousness some people carry into a session:
What if nothing happens?
What if I can’t see images?
What if I’m not intuitive enough?
What if I fail at this?
Let’s clear that up.
QHHT Isn’t Just About Seeing
One of the biggest misconceptions about Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) is that it’s primarily visual — like watching a movie of your past lives.
Some people do experience vivid imagery.
That’s called clairvoyance — clear seeing.
But clairvoyance is only one channel of perception.
Consciousness communicates through what are often called the Claires — intuitive sensory pathways. Everyone has them. We simply use them in different proportions - and some of us aren’t aware we have access to them.
The Claires: How Consciousness Communicates
During a session, you may notice one (or more) of these channels becoming active:
Clairvoyance — clear seeing (imagery, symbols, scenes)
Clairsentience — clear feeling (emotions, body sensations, energetic shifts)
Claircognizance — clear knowing (sudden insights without explanation)
Clairaudience — clear hearing (inner phrases, guidance, tonal impressions)
You do not need all of them.
You likely have one that is naturally dominant in your everyday life — and hypnosis simply amplifies your existing channel.
Your session will unfold through the Claires that are already strongest in you.
And often, QHHT helps you become more aware of which intuitive channel is most active for you — something many clients continue to recognize long after their session ends.
If You Don’t “See,” You May Be Feeling or Knowing
Many powerful sessions unfold primarily through:
Emotional release without visual storylines
A deep body sensation that shifts or resolves
A calm, steady stream of knowing
Clear Higher Self answers that feel grounded and direct
A subtle but unmistakable internal shift
If you are clairsentient, your body may process first.
If you are claircognizant, you may simply know what’s happening without images.
If you are clairaudient, you may hear guidance internally rather than see it.
These are not lesser experiences.
They are simply different languages of consciousness.
Your Nervous System Chooses the Channel
Because I work from a trauma-informed foundation, I pay close attention to nervous system safety.
Sometimes the system will:
Offer symbolic imagery instead of detailed scenes
Keep you partially aware
Focus on present-life material
Deliver information in smaller pieces that are easier to integrate
There is a great intelligence we are tapping into during a QHHT session. And there is wisdom in the way the information unfolds.
The body regulates how much intensity it can safely metabolize. The Claires that activate in your session are often the ones your system trusts most.
You Cannot Fail at This
Hypnosis is not performance.
It’s not about being psychic.
It’s not about producing something dramatic.
It’s not about impressing anyone.
It is about allowing your natural channel of perception to lead.
The real question after a session isn’t:
Did I see something spectacular?
It’s:
Did something shift?
Did something soften?
Did I feel clearer?
Did I feel more myself?
Did I receive guidance that felt grounded and true?
That is what matters.
If you’re considering a session and wondering whether you’re “the kind of person who can be hypnotized,” know this:
You don’t have to see a movie.
You don’t have to be intuitive in a particular way.
You simply need willingness and safety.
The Claires you already live through every day will guide the experience. And you may leave more aware of your own perceptive abilities than when you arrived.
If you’re in Edmonton — or traveling here for a session — I guide QHHT in a way that honours both your intuitive channel and your nervous system.
If that feels aligned, you’re welcome to reach out and schedule a coffee chat to explore whether a session is right for you.
